Condition: Flatter and tighter quilts in lambskin leather with 24k gold-plated hardware. Rare series 0 inclusive of full set! Absolutely incredible patina! Some inevitable scratches on hardware and lambskin, fading on backplate, light use on corners/edges, pen marks on interior, interior slip pockets are unused but faded, some slight imperfections throughout, some deflated quilts. See photos as part of this description.

A series 0 is an extraordinary find. This series 0 was manufactured with flatter and tighter quilts referred to as Matelasse, which refers to a weaving technique that creates a quilted or padded look without actual filler. This is also the first series that was manufactured with a serial number inside the bag. Serial numbers that begin with 0 are known as being manufactured in the “golden age” of CHANEL 1986 to 1988. This era is known to be that of superior quality and artisanship. It is uncommon to find a series 0, and very uncommon to find a series 0 in this condition!
