Consignment Terms

We will provide an estimated sale price from the photos you submit in the forum below within 24 hours of receiving your inquiry.

Consignment Fees

The price we quote is what we will list the item for on our multiple sales platforms. Our consignment fee is 12%. This fee will be deducted from the sale price. Due to rapidly changing market conditions, list prices will potentially fluctuate and be reevaluated based on current demand.

Authentication

Seller is responsible for the purchase of authentication in order for us to sell the bag. This cost will be deducted from the final sale price at time of sale. Cost for authentication is $20. If the bag is deemed inauthentic, seller will be responsible for return shipping.

Item condition

Please do not send items with a heavy odor. They will be returned at your expense. Items should be consistent with the quality of the inventory shown on our sales platforms - gently used condition only. If an item is far from the condition described, or does not match the photos sent in your submission, we will request to return the item back to you at your own expense.

Shipping

Shipping the item to our consignment team is at your own expense. It is your responsibility to ship the item in a timely manner, and it is your decision to ship the item with your carrier or choice. We accept shipments from all major carriers. Insurance is at your discretion. Lady Luxe is not held liable in the case of any loss or damaged items in transit. 

We suggest that you attach the shipping label to the top corner so that it does not overlap the box seam. Including a copy of the label inside the package is also good practice.

Please do not use packing peanuts.

Please wrap the item for safe transit. This includes tucking any chains under the flap and stuffing the body of the bag if it is fragile or prone to structure loss.

If the bag does not sell, or you wish to request the bag back, seller is responsible for shipping fees back.

Selling Approach

Items generally will take one week to be authenticated, photographed, and posted. We will market them in a way that we feel will best promote sales. This will include photos and videos. Items will also be featured in a curated selection on our website or in Chanel Facebook groups of our choosing.

Return Consignment

We make every effort to only accept items that we believe will sell quickly. If after 45 days from when the item is postmarked as received, and in the event that the item has not yet sold, you can then request for it to be returned at your expense. A $175 fee will be applied if this request comes before the 45 day period to cover time spent photographing and marketing your item. Seller is responsible for return shipping expenses. ​

Payment

We will send payment for sold items via PayPal, Zelle, or Wise once finances are received in full from the buyer. 

We accept full responsibility for your item while it is in our possession. Your item will be kept in a clean, safe, secure environment.
